Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 11, 2026

This is a draft published ahead of launch and is still being reviewed. It describes how Builder Falcon works today.

The rules for what Falcon posts under your accounts. In short: say who you are, use real accounts, don’t spam, don’t make claims you can’t back up, and respect each platform.

On this page

  1. Why this policy exists
  2. Be honest about who you are
  3. Real accounts only
  4. No spam
  5. No false claims
  6. Content we don’t allow
  7. Respect each platform
  8. Use the service as intended
  9. What happens if this policy is broken
  10. Reporting misuse

1. Why this policy exists

Falcon joins real conversations as you. That only works if replies are honest, useful and welcome where they land. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everything posted through Builder Falcon, whether you approved it or turned on automatic posting. Our responsible use page explains how Falcon writes.

2. Be honest about who you are

  • Replies must say plainly that you’re behind the business you mention.
  • Don’t pretend to be an unaffiliated customer, a neutral reviewer or a stranger who just happened to find the product.
  • No disguised or undisclosed paid endorsements. If someone is paid or rewarded to recommend you, that must be clear.
  • Don’t impersonate another person, brand or organization.

3. Real accounts only

  • Don’t use fake accounts, or several accounts, to make your business look more popular than it is. No account farms, manufactured accounts or sockpuppets.
  • Don’t use Falcon with platform accounts you don’t control or aren’t allowed to use.
  • Don’t use different handles to get around the one trial per platform handle.

4. No spam

Don’t use Builder Falcon to send unrequested mass messages, post the same reply over and over, or reply where your business doesn’t help. Each reply should be a genuine answer to the post it’s under, written for the person who asked. A good reply is useful even to someone who never clicks your link.

Builder Falcon doesn’t offer email outreach. Don’t use it to start conversations with people who didn’t ask.

5. No false claims

Don’t make claims you can’t back up, about your business or anyone else’s. Take particular care with health, financial and legal claims: don’t invent results, credentials, reviews or guarantees. Falcon avoids claims your business profile says it must never make, but you’re responsible for what’s posted.

6. Content we don’t allow

  • Harassment, threats or hate.
  • Illegal products or services, or help breaking the law.
  • Adult content.
  • Scams, phishing or deceptive offers.
  • Malware, or links to it.

7. Respect each platform

Follow each platform’s rules and terms, and the norms of the community you’re posting in. Some places are less welcoming to businesses than others; Hacker News and LinkedIn have lower daily limits on purpose. Daily limits and the minimum gaps between posts are set on our servers for every platform; don’t try to get around them.

Don’t try to get around a platform’s protections: CAPTCHAs, security challenges, rate limits or bans. When Falcon meets a challenge, it stops; don’t work around that.

8. Use the service as intended

Don’t try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to Builder Falcon. Don’t reverse engineer the service or the extension, tamper with the extension to change what it posts or reports, get around its limits, or use it for anything other than posting your own approved replies.

9. What happens if this policy is broken

We may pause posting, suspend or close accounts that break this policy, depending on how serious it is. Where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you why. Automatic posting doesn’t change who’s responsible: if a reply breaks this policy, it’s treated as yours whether you approved it or Falcon posted it within your settings.

10. Reporting misuse

If you see Builder Falcon being used in a way this policy forbids, tell us at contact@builderfalcon.com. A link to the post helps. If you wrote a post that received a reply through Builder Falcon and something about it was dishonest or unwelcome, we want to know.
